Seascape
Porth, near Newquay, Cornwall — Sleeps 4 — Dogs welcome
Seascape is a two-storey property in the village of Porth, a mile and a half from Newquay and a short walk from Porth beach. It’s built for the view — an inverted layout with the living space on the upper floor, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a balcony and the kind of sunset that gives you a reason to be up there with a drink in hand. The enclosed garden is on the ground floor, accessed from the master bedroom. Fistral beach, open to dogs all year, is two miles. The South West Coast Path runs directly past the village. Two dogs welcome.
Newquay is 1.5 miles — restaurants, pubs and the harbour. Padstow is 13 miles north along the coast. The Eden Project is 17 miles inland. Watergate Bay, one of the longest and most open beaches on the north Cornish coast, is 1.4 miles south.
Seascape is managed directly by the owner. The link below takes you straight to their website to check availability.
The ground floor opens into a calm, well-finished interior. The first bedroom has zip-and-link beds, set up as a twin or king-size to suit the group. A contemporary bathroom with a rainfall shower over the bath sits alongside. At the back of the ground floor, the master bedroom has a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room and full-length glass sliding doors opening directly onto the enclosed garden.
Upstairs, the open-plan living and kitchen area runs across the full width of the house. Comfortable seating, a Smart TV and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that open onto the balcony. The kitchen and dining area are well-equipped for cooking in properly.
Two dogs welcome.
A balcony with seating off the upper living space — the main event for evenings. An enclosed private garden at ground level, accessed from the master bedroom or via a separate door.
