Days Out In Devon

A day out at a Devon attraction doesn’t have to mean leaving your dog behind. Many places across the county are dog-friendly, offering plenty of space for your dog to enjoy, with some even welcome dogs indoors too.

For a fun day out the whole family can enjoy, Seaton Tramway is a great option. Or head to Bicton Park Botanical Gardens in East Budleigh, where dogs on leads can explore the botanical wonders alongside you.

Some of Devon’s adventure parks are pet-friendly too. The Milky Way near Bideford allows dogs in most areas, while others such as Pennywell Farm, The BIG Sheep, and Crealy offer designated dog exercise areas, so your dog can enjoy their own mini-adventure too.

You’ll also find a welcome for dogs at many National Trust properties across Devon. Most have dog-friendly walking routes, and a growing number even offer homemade dog biscuits in their cafés, perfect alongside a scone and cup of tea.

Whether you’re after hands-on fun, peaceful gardens, or open countryside, there are plenty of dog-friendly attractions in Devon that cater to the whole family.
