Combesgate View
Woolacombe, North Devon — Sleeps 12 — Dogs welcome
Combesgate View is a five-bedroom contemporary house set above the north Devon coast with panoramic views across Combesgate Beach and out to the Atlantic. It sleeps twelve, has a cinema room, a hot tub, a glass-fronted deck, a snug with a wood burner and a children’s games space with a PlayStation. The South West Coast Path runs past the door. Morte Point is 1.5 miles on foot. Woolacombe’s main beach is half a mile away. Three dogs welcome.
The house is positioned directly above Combesgate Beach — 200 metres down the steep path. The beach itself bans dogs from 30 April to 30 September, which is worth knowing before you plan your days. Putsborough Sands and the section of Woolacombe Beach south of Mill Rock are both open to dogs all year and within easy reach.
Combesgate View is managed directly by the owner. The link below takes you straight to their website to check availability.
The front door opens into a hallway leading to a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining space on the upper floor. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto the decked terrace, pulling the sea views into the room. A breakfast bar with an integrated coffee machine, a solid oak dining table and a Smart TV in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for a group of twelve cooking properly.
The cinema room is on the same level — a proper screen, comfortable seating and a space that earns its place even on a week of good weather. The snug has a glass lantern roof and a wood burner. A children’s games area with a PlayStation 4 Pro sits separately. A WC completes the ground floor.
A floating staircase with glass balustrades leads to the bedroom floor. Three king-size bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms and sea views. Two have balconies. The third has a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, a walk-in wardrobe, a Smart TV and a Juliet balcony. A family bathroom with a freestanding bath. Two bunk bedrooms complete the sleeping accommodation. Three dogs welcome throughout.
A large decked terrace with a hot tub and open sea views. A storage area with surf and bodyboards. A hotel directly opposite the property for evenings when cooking feels like too much effort. Private parking for three cars.
