With space for four in the main cottage and an additional two in the quaint shepherd’s hut nestled in the garden, there’s plenty of room for everyone to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Furthermore, next door is Stour Valley Cottage, another six-guest property, making this pair ideal for two families traveling together. Enjoy each other’s company while still having the privacy of separate cottages.

Meadow Cottage features chalk white walls, Farrow & Ball paints, and reupholstered vintage furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cottage has been lovingly restored with careful attention to detail, ensuring every corner is perfectly designed for your comfort.
The ground floor offers a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with lovely views of the garden. The lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas and a wood burner, providing a cosy ambiance, perfect even for rainy days. The living room also includes a large dining table, ideal for entertaining. If you rent both cottages, the entire group can gather here for sociable meals.
Upstairs, the cottage has two bright and spacious bedrooms. The top floor features a large double bedroom and a bunk room with handmade beds suitable for both children and adults. These two rooms share a family bathroom. The third bedroom is located in a charming Shepherd’s hut in the garden, complete with a double bed and a wood-burning stove, offering a uniquely cosy experience.
Meadow Cottage is just a short walk from Wimborne’s town center, and the rest of Dorset is easily accessible by car, with the stunning Jurassic Coast nearby. With its charming interiors and convenient location, Meadow Cottage is the perfect base for exploring all that Dorset has to offer.
