With the South West Coast Path passing through town, scenic walks with your dog are right on the doorstep, and with the A39 nearby, it’s a great base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Days out might include discovering fishing villages like Port Isaac, Clovelly and Boscastle, a trip to the Eden Project, or hiking across the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor.
Inside, this dog friendly holiday home in Cornwall is spacious, fresh, and full of natural light. Unusually, it’s accessed via the first floor, opening into a bright entrance hall with skylight and statement lighting. Head downstairs and you’ll find a sociable open-plan space, complete with a Smart TV, wood-burning stove, and corner sofa to sink into after a day of exploring. Floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors open onto the patio, making it easy to dine outdoors or enjoy the last of the evening sun. There’s also a separate snug with another Smart TV – ideal for giving the kids their own space or curling up with a book.
The sleek, well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a handy utility/wet room with washer/dryer, shower, and WC – perfect after sandy beach walks.
Upstairs, the four bedrooms are individually styled with a relaxed, contemporary feel. The super-king master includes a modern en-suite, while the other rooms (a king, a twin, and a bunk room suitable for children aged 14 and under) share a gorgeous family bathroom with freestanding bath and walk-in shower.
