You’ll be within strolling distance of a welcoming village pub and the scenic South West Coast Path, while the rugged sands of Northcott Mouth are just a short walk away, offering plenty of space for all ages – and four-legged friends – to enjoy.
Nearby, a wetland bird sanctuary and nature reserve provide peaceful walks with wonderful wildlife spotting opportunities. Less than 2 miles away, Bude is home to more sandy beaches, independent shops, cafes, and attractions including a golf course, leisure centre, swimming pool and tennis courts. With excellent public footpath access right from the door, you can even walk into Bude via quiet lanes or cross-country trails. For days out, explore the fishing villages of Clovelly, Rock and Padstow, hike Bodmin Moor, visit The Eden Project, or discover one of the many National Trust properties in the area.

Step inside this beautiful home and you’re greeted by a spacious entrance hall, complete with a charming wood burner. To the right is the elegant lounge – a generous dual-aspect space with an original parquet floor, comfy seating, Smart TV, and DVD, perfect for relaxing after a day of coastal adventures. Garden views fill the room with light, and next door, the dining room continues the theme, with décor inspired by the outdoors and direct access to the terrace for pre-dinner drinks in the evening sun. Across from the dining room, a cosy snug offers a second lounge area with a Smart TV, Xbox and a choice of board games – ideal for children or anyone looking for a quieter spot.
The kitchen/breakfast room is as stylish as it is practical, with an electric range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and an American-style fridge/freezer with an ice maker. There’s also a utility room with a second fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, extra WC, and access to the garden. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a bright double bedroom with garden views and its own en-suite shower room.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are all individually styled, many with lovely views of the grounds. A charming bunk room (top bunk suitable for children) leads through to a spacious family bedroom with a king-size bed and single day bed, creating a great family suite. Nearby is a bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath, separate shower, and WC. There are two more double bedrooms, a contemporary shower room, an extra WC, another double with en-suite, and a large triple bedroom with three singles next to a further bathroom with a second roll-top bath and shower.
Outside, the enclosed lawn garden is a real highlight, offering plenty of space for everyone – and every dog – to enjoy. There are mature shrubs, a pretty greenhouse with seating, a badminton area, swings, and room for games like croquet or boules. The large decked terrace is perfect for soaking up the sun, while the pizza oven and BBQ lodge make alfresco dining possible all year round. A new sauna and cold water plunge pool have just been installed – the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring. You’ll also find table tennis, a child’s swing, and private parking for several cars on the driveway.
