Part of a wider vineyard and working farm with a well-regarded café, shop, and play area, the house still feels wonderfully private and peaceful – perfect for a relaxed getaway with family or friends.

Just over a mile from Honiton, known for its antique shops, lace and pottery, you’ll have easy access to the town and nearby beauty spots like Hembury Fort and Blackbury Camp. The coast is within 10 miles, with popular seaside spots like Sidmouth and Seaton, and quieter beaches at Branscombe and Beer. There are plenty of walking routes nearby too, including the South West Coast Path – ideal if you’re bringing the dog along.

The house itself is designed to impress, with curved lines, full-height windows, and views across the countryside and vineyard from nearly every room. Step through the front door and you’ll find a handy hallway for boots and coats, before heading into the large open-plan kitchen and dining space. It’s well-equipped for sociable cooking and family meals, with a log burner, comfortable seating, and everything you need to make the most of the farm shop’s local produce.

There’s also a separate lounge with squashy sofas and a Smart TV – great for winding down in the evening – plus lots of little corners around the house for quiet moments with a book or a board game.

Across the five bedrooms, there’s space for up to twelve guests. The main bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed, an en-suite shower room, and a shared balcony with lovely views.

This connects to another king-size bedroom. Upstairs, there’s another super-king-size zip-and-link room, a children’s room with bunk beds and a games console, and a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and separate shower. The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor and also has a zip-and-link bed, with another shower room close by.

Outside, there are lots of spots to sit and soak up the view. From sunny morning coffees to evening BBQs, the wraparound deck and garden offer plenty of options. Head down to the lower garden to find your own private wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit – perfect for a peaceful evening under the stars.

Guests are also welcome to explore the surrounding vineyard, let kids blow off steam in the play area, or stop by the café for lunch or a sweet treat. It’s a brilliant base for exploring this corner of Devon, with space to relax and everything you need on hand.
