We send a handpicked stay.

Within 48 hours, you'll receive a single retreat we believe is right for you — one property, chosen for the specific details of your brief. If it's not quite right, just reply and we'll send another. No pressure to book.

Book direct, with the owner.

We send you a direct link to the owner's own booking page. No platform in the middle, no commission added to your price. You deal with the owner from start to finish. Poochouse is free for you — always.

Common questions.

Is Poochouse free to use? +

Yes — entirely free for travellers. Properties are either featured through a small annual owner listing fee, or via an affiliate arrangement where we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Either way, you pay exactly what the owner charges.

How quickly will I hear back? +

We aim to reply within 48 hours. Most enquiries are answered within 24. We don't use an automated system — every recommendation is considered individually.

What if I don't love the recommendation? +

Just reply to our email and tell us what's not working — too remote, not enough bedrooms, the wrong region. We'll send another option. There's no limit and no pressure to book.

How do I actually book? +

We send a direct link to the cottage owner's own booking page. You book straight with them — no platform in between, no Poochouse checkout. Your booking confirmation comes from the owner directly.

What regions do you cover? +

Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and the Lake District — 26 properties across Wild and Cosy collections. We add new regions as the collection grows. If you're looking for somewhere not yet covered, tell us anyway — we may be able to help.

Can I browse the collection myself? +

Yes — the full collection is available on the Wild and Cosy pages. If you find something you like, you can go straight to the property page and book directly. The recommendation service is for people who'd rather we did the choosing.
